– BOOKS & BANDS #2 –
May 1st, 2021 * 6 – 9 p.m.
Carl’s Country – Prattville, Alabama
Books & Bands #2 was a rockin’ success! Lynessa was joined by legendary Alabama rock group O.T.I. and fans at Carl’s Country live music venue and bar. New fans enjoyed getting to know Lynnie and scoring some autographed copies of DCYE. One lucky drawing winner took home a 2020 1st edition collector’s copy ARC paperback of DCYE #1 and swag pack. Only 36 ARCs were printed, so hopefully it’ll be worth some auction action some day? 😉

– BOOK SIGNING & SWAG PARTY! –
( ‘BOOKS & BANDS’ #1 )
24 Feb 2021
Lynessa’s first ever book signing event was a first of its kind evening to remember. Pratt Pub & Oyster Bar in Prattville, Alabama hosted the unique book signing and simultaneous concert by up and coming country music star Brandon Jordan. This was the first ever solo accoustic performance for Brandon (he stated he’s never played in public without his band). Talk about incredible vocals and guitar perfection! The crowd was electric, and had the opportunity to mingle with Brandon and Lynessa throughout the event. With such a dynamic atmosphere of author signing combined with ragin’ country and classic rock sharing the spotlight, you might think there’s no way this would work, but it did! In fact, it turned out even better than expected for a Wednesday night. The place was packed, and both parties were exceedingly pleased with the results. This begs the question, should authors think outside the box more often when it comes to traditional book signing event formats versus hybrid event concepts, and what ideas would you suggest for future book signings? (Click the CONTACT tab above to offer suggestions.) Lynessa would love to see your input. For more information on #BrandonJordanMusic, check out his Facebook page, and give his band a LIKE. Lynessa Layne and Brandon Jordan would like to thank everyone who attended, and give a special shout out thank you to “Maw” for hosting an epic evening of Indies at #PrattPub!
